Here's wishing all my three readers a very very Happy New Year!!!!!!
Hope this is the year of change in the country, when a party that deserves power will get it, when the economy will boom back, when people like Raj and Antulay become extinct,.
Let this be the year when people get a little more tolerant, and there are lesser protests for frivolous reasons. Hope this is the year when separatists and pakis realise that Kashmir will stay with India. I hope this year will be the one when the Supreme Court gets more active and brings back its transformational zeal.
Let this be the year when the Congress realizes that perhaps fighting Terror is more important than fighting the General election, and that Pakistan is the real enemy, not the BJP.
At a personal level, I hope I get a direction in life and wish that I blog about my personal successes along with that of the BJP's. And I really want to get a girlfriend ;)
Also I hope the sportsmen bring us glory this year too, and the film makers keep on experimenting. I hope that 2009 is nothing like 2008.
Didn't say anything about the terrorists. There's only so much one can hope.

People We Could do Without
This is a continuation of the previous post. I know this list can go on and on but my aim is to compress the list and represent a cross section of losers.
Raj Thackrey -He is the man I did not want to put on my list because he is not worth it. Not even worth disgust, I actually put him here on popular demand . Completely a media created monster, he has failed to win even a single seat in the Mumbai civic polls. He is a political nobody, and is a shameless hypocrite. I would have abused him in the most choicest of apt abuses, save for the fact that I am actually afraid of the Maharashtra Police(who have no other job to do other than catching abusive bloggers and framing imaginary terrorists, and the same goes for other politicos). This country has no real Freedom of Speech. But get this clear Mr Raj. your Bombay(yeah right!!!) is not a Maharashtrian city. It is Gujarati, made from the entrepreneurial spirit of countless nobodies from Navsari to Anjar. Its spirit is Gujarati and would have gone to Gujarat, had it not been for the hysterical self immolation attempts and the idiocy of Nehru. Actually, I ve spent too many words on this pathetic fool, but I request him to build a shivaji statue in the middle of sea and keep a look out for bhayyas infiltrating through the sea route.
TR Baalu- Well not many would know him, but this man has the distinction of single handedly fucking up our National Highway Program. His megalomaniacal tendencies have led him to change the NHAI directors once in every 3 months and the highway construction has ground to a groaning halt. Worse, his ministry is sitting on 5000 crores of funds collected as tolls from us. One big reason you should vote for the BJP this time around. (Bring back khanduri) Next year, the voters of his constituency should road roll him.
P.C. Chidambaram-The sheer arrogance of this man is nauseating; his policies disastrous. Probably the most over rated minister in the history of this country(he has a lotta competition), his mantra is to spend astonishing amounts on dud schemes(because senorita tells him to) and squeeze the middle class with irrational taxes, because we shut up and pay. He took 4 years to initiate a single reform measure. He is singular reason I did not apply to Harvard this year. If it churns out these kinda fools, I wouldn't rather go there. Now he is on his way to fill the shoes of the great Shivraaj Patil and am sure he'll do full justice to it.
Barkha Dutt, Sagarika Gosh et al- The screaming hysterical ladies of Indian television urgently need a voice coach. They equate journalism and asking tough questions to screaming incessantly at the participants of their talk shows in the process making Mamta Banerjee look like a domesticated cow. And to top it all, they have the balls(sic) to believe that they can shape the opinion of the nation. Ladies, please go see a doctor, or better, go to a journalism school.
Rahul Gandhi- A philandering yuvraaj, he is clearly under- endowed in the intellectual department, as his hemvati-kalaavati speeches show. His utterances are pathetically juvenile at best and no wonder the negative IQ losers in the media lap it up some times even calling him India's Saviour(God save India). He is in the position that he is in just by the conjecture of his birth.Otherwise he'd be hunting for some clerical job. Dude, go join some permanent Big Boss ala RM or go get lost in the Colombian Jungles. You deserve no more.
PS Although this list is almost exclusively filled with people from the political walk, there are indeed many deserving luminaries from other worlds, who I could not accommodate because of the single minded obssesion I have with politics. Here I would like to propose those names
Sharukh Khan, for his depressing overacting in Rab ne bana di jodi and also to Aditya Chopra, for stealing the film's story from a third grade kid's essay book.
Ramalinga Raju, for his astounding corporate governance record.
The Real Estate companies, for their obsession with 50% margins and for letting their greed better of them even in times of distress.

People We Could do Without Next Year
As I write this, another eventful year is coming to a close. For the UPA its been business as usual, exhibiting with aplomb its pathetic ineptitude in governing this country, as we have bungled from one disaster to another. The colossal failure of this government will only be known when we get down to pick the pieces, and trust me the news aint gonna be any good. The economy is in the doldrums because of the implementation of stupid populist programs that have been deemed as a failure. The infrastructure projects that the last government took up are not moving and the telecom ministry has become shady. Of course you have been shielded from this bad news by the media, which is a collection of Congress rags and Communist mouthpieces, as they believe that serving the haughty lady in 10 Janpath is akin to serving the country.
Anyways as this year comes to a close, I thought of making a list of people for whom I have no love lost. Magazines publish various lists, power, person of the year etc. But here I would like to put out a list of persons whom India would'nt miss much.
So here goes....
1) Arundhati Roy- The fact that this lady even manages to get media space is stupifying to me. Her views are always tailored to grab media attention and obviously not well thought through. A one book wonder, she obviously has no job but to malign India and her institutions. This lady created various falsehoods about Gujarat riots such as rapes etc, which are folklore even today and have been exposed by the SC's SIT to fabrications of a deranged mind. Supported ably by another Hindu hater, Teesta Setalvad. Both of thse ladies should be sent to Tibet where no one can hear their idiotic insiniuations.
2) Mamta Banerjee- The less said about the screaming lady from Bengal, the better. She has a Nano sized egg on her face, and it stinks. I am petitioning Modi to give her a retirment house i Sanand.
3)Amar Singh- This wheeler dealer always manages to get away from all the corruption in the world and the media does'nt care. Last heard he had his snout in Clinton's pork barrel. He donated 23 crores to The Clinton Foundation, and with declared assets of 37 crores, he is truly one altruistic mind.
4) Zardari and his Cohorts- Mr 10 percent seems to be losing it. Constant flip flops, wild accusations, weird house arrests and then denials man, I am begining to lose him. Everytime he opens hi strap, disaster's lurking. Poor chap cant keep anyone happy The Indians are gunning for him, the army is contemptuous of him, the mullahs hate his attitude and then there is Sharif. Last heard he has started a Ministry Of Denial in Islamabad whose job is to deny everything India says. They have issued 9987 denials in absolutly incomprehensible urdu and we're and still counting. Their tagline is -No, We didn't.
5) Gowda Clan-This bunch of illiterate idiots have screwed Karnataka enough with their anti development agenda. I wonder what kind of morons vote for this family. They are the masters of the worst party in India, the Janata Dal (Sewage). They are bereft of any ideology save that of power and make a conspicous show of their lack of morality. Hers hoping BSY digs a huge pit in Hassan and buries them there.

Shivraaj Patil- What can be said about a Home Minister whose First statement after taking over is "We are ready to have meaningful intercourse with the terrorists". I can think of only one thing. Goodbye, asshole.

Vilas Rao Deshmukh- Watching him on Maharashtra's chair, I was dumbfounded! Man this chap had some kinda glue thing with the chair going on. He confirmed to the true congress culture of getting and sticking on to power at any cost. now he has lost power, hope his son's atrocious movies stop too.

La Trahison Des Clercs
What a week it has been!! A truly tragic week for the country and especially for Mumbai, a city I've lived in for 10 years and come to love dearly. It was heart wrenching for me to see the Taj burned, a place for aspiration for young penniless youth like me. We used to say in humour, Taj me party dunga...Dont know when it will open again but hope its soon enough.
A period of 48 hrs has passed since the terrorists and the mourning time is almost over. Its time to get cynical and start hard questions. This attack only adds to the long resume of achievements of this pathetic government headed by an effete Prime Minister who is directed by an Italian idiot helped by her loser son. The Media too has behaved irresponsibly with the likes Raajdeep Sluredesai putting spin on their version of things. I betcha they were hoping for this to be a Hindu attack When I saw reports of vermilion on terrorists, I had a bad feeling...I could almost see CNN IBN putting out clinching evidence in the form of the sadhvi practicing yoga and hence saying that she knew yoga and escaped the jail,shot the people and came back. Slurdesai and Padmashri Burqa Dutta went into an overdrive against Modi visiting Mumbai. Likewise, stories of Yuvraaj Rahul baba partying all through the night were completely suppresed. That the media has its own agenda is a known fact. The response of the government was callous, lazy and apathetic. Manmohin addressed the nation 24 hrs after the disaster. Senorita was only 'angry and upset' and Shivraaj looked positively drunk on national TV. Business as usual here. But the piece de resistance was the Idiotic Prime Minister inviting the ISI chief to show him evidence!!!!!! What was Manmohin thinking? That this was some fucking Parent teacher meeting where he'd have told the chief that how badly his boys were behaving and the chief would have gone home and scolded his boys? No! He'd have gone back and wiped the trail clean. What a nut we have for a PM!!! Did he really get those degrees or is the Oxford University so bad.
The sad fact is that terrorism discourse in this country has been plagued by blatant minorytism in the past 4 years. It is ironic that Manmohini will try and build the same Anti Terror apparatus in the last hundred days in his office that he helped dismantle in the first hundred days of his/her office. The delay in the hanging of Afzal Guru to please muslims is a case in the point. The media has been dominated by left liberal assholes who only want Hindus to keep on apologizing to Muslims. This brings me to the title of my post, a famous line in French poem which means the treason of the learned. It explains what India has been going through since Independence. At every point this country has been betrayed by the elite ie congress rulers. Right from the Hindu hating Kashmiri loser to Power lusting Indira to the Senorita, this country has been betrayed. The events in Mumbai were an extension of the same chain of events.
The Congress party has resorted to dirty tricks whenever it is sure of losing. Think the St Kitts case where non existent accounts of V.P.Singhs son were revealed with the connivance of the stooge media. Or may be Hawala Case or may be the numerous dismissals of elected governments through the goverener's powers. The Malegaon Blast case took also the same path. Had not the jihadis intervened the 'revelations ' would have continued till May, ultimately implicating a senior RSS functionary. So while the jihadis were planning the attacks, the ATS was playing games on behalf of its political masters . All these actions are an open invite to the jehadis to come and kill us. And the channels will chant the Spirit Of Mumbai chant which means that come kill us, rape us, destroy us and somehow, we'll blame ourselves.
The media will always tell us that all the politicians are the problem when the Cong is in a tight spot. They will tell us that the BJP did nothing too. Well at least it dint support the terrorists?

I still have hope that we will defeat this Islamist menace, but for that we have to elect the right party. The Lotus has to come to power if the treason of the learned has to stop.
